Equine Surgery Center

East Coast Equine is proud to be the only equine colic surgery center between Palm Beach & Ocala/Gainesville University of Florida. We offer 24 hour surgical care in a warm, caring environment. Colic is the leading killer in horses. Colic, simply stated, is abdominal pain. It may be as simple as gas (where they nay need to fart to feel better) or a twisted gut where if left unseen or untreated they can die within 5 hours. Depending on your horse's pain tolerance, the signs (rolling, pawing, and not eating) can be the same. Early veterinary intervention is key.

"Being close to home in our new centrally located facility will allow us to save more lives and continue to provide excellent care in a truly caring environment." - Dr. Valerie Biehl
